Wildpoint Whitetails is owned and operated
by Larry, Chris, & Carolyn Scheel
We are located just north of Saint Jo, Texas along the old Chisholm trail cattle route, 25 miles west of Gainesville and about an hour and a half from the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex.
We strive to raise top quality whitetail deer
to enhance not only the genetics on our ranch,
but on ranches throughout the state of Texas.
Our breeding goals are to raise big mainframe deer
that look like deer should.
The deer we breed for our ranch
are from the 150” to 200”+ range.
We run herds of Blackbuck and Axis Deer on our ranch for the hunter who is interested in hunting more then whitetail.
At wildpoint we work hard on our wildlife plan which includes year round feeding and food plots, to provide a superior habitat for the animals to thrive in.
We have a state of the art A.I. facility, and maintain excellent animal health thru daily animal inspections and detailed records.
Wildpoint has a first class main lodge, and adjacent bunkhouse
that sleeps up to 16, and is loaded with fun like
shuffle board, foosball, and darts,
and have a shooting range that has targets up to 400 yards.
We cater to family and friends, wives, brothers,
sisters and especially children.
Children are our future and need to be exposed to nature
and all its wonderful glories.
Being a family owned and run operation, we work hard at making our ranch a mixture of fun and work for all to enjoy.
